After Sunday’s big game, New England fans are gearing up for Superbowl Sunday, and visitors to Kennebunkport ME will be out in full force on game day. There is no question that there will be countless viewing parties in and around town, but some folks always prefer to watch from the comfort of their own rooms. We always make sure to broadcast the game from the living room of the main house (what could be better than watching by the warmth of a fire?!), but there is no question that there are tons of Kennebunkport restaurants to watch with a gang.
Every year Federal Jack’s BrewPub draws a big crowd for Superbowl Sunday, but this year Alisson’s Restaurant is sure to give Fed’s a run for their money. They have been closed for a massive renovation and they reopen on Thursday, February 1 – just days ahead of the big game! You can bet that while Federal Jack’s might take the cake for the number of televisions showing the plays, curiosity about the new look might sway folks. Plus, Alisson’s is the closest spot to our Kennebunkport boutique hotel. But both are an easy walk from the inn, so folks planning to indulge in game-time noshing (think fried goodies like chicken tenders, potato skins, and wings galore) that they’ll wash down with a few cold ones don’t have to get in a car at all!
But these big guys aren’t the only Kennebunkport restaurants to catch the game. Both Pedro’s and Pier 77’s The Ramp have great bars for watching sports on television. The food offerings at each of these spots might be a little less traditional for Superbowl Sunday, but the quality is amazing! but the food offerings here, while less characteristic of your neighbor’s Superbowl party, are truly excellent. Plus, who wouldn’t want a great margarita while watching the Patriots take on the Eagles? No matter where you choose to watch, the Super Bowl is sure to be a great game and there are tons of spots to enjoy right here in Kennebunkport Maine on February 4, 2018!
