While Columbus Day Weekend is usually near the peak of fall foliage season here on the Southern Maine Coast, this season’s colors are about two and a half weeks behind schedule, but there is plenty of beautiful fall foliage to be seen (along with the green)! And because of unseasonably warm weather during the first weeks of autumn, folks are really enjoying the season now that it has arrived. So this weekend there are lots of incredible events to enjoy during the… Read More

So that means it is time to plan your  foliage tour! But to take advantage of the various… Read More

It’s Definitely Fall Foliage on the Maine Coast!

Today was one spectacular day, with unseasonably warm temps, cloudless skies, and perfect viewing of the fall foliage along the Maine Coast.  Some areas of the globe refer to New England’s fall foliage season as “Indian Summer,” and that was absolutely appropriate this weekend with thermometers rising in Kennebunkport Maine into the 80s and an amazing display of colors!
