2017 Maine Restaurant Week is Coming!

Over the last decade or so, the Maine dining scene has exploded – in a good way! And because of the influx of great restaurants to the area, Maine Restaurant Week has developed as an incredible opportunity to explore some of the state’s amazing eateries. Sure, you can try new dishes (or old faves) at your tried-and-true spots, but my favorite thing about the 2017 Maine Restaurant Week is that you can test out newcomers to the dining scene or new chefs welcomed at awesome restaurants!

This year four awesome restaurants in the Kennebunkport Maine area are taking part – and at all different price tags! But if none of those four strike your fancy, there are tons of great spots to enjoy in Portland, which is just 30 minutes away! There are so many restaurants on myMaine Restaurant Week  “must-try” list that are participating this year, even over the twelve-day span, I won’t get to them all! Thank goodness for Maine Restaurant Week 2018, right?!

This year, you can sample a three-course lunch at Federal Jack’s Brewpub for just $15 or dinner for $25. And as a staple just a short walk from our luxury Kennebunkport hotel, it is not to be overlooked. Toroso is new to the Kennebunkport dining scene, and already a star – featuring a stellar tapas menu. If you haven’t tried it yet, Maine Restaurant Week is the perfect time to indulge! But if indulging is on the menu, don’t miss out on the offerings at Stripers Restaurant for just $45 – situated right at the mouth of the Kennebunk River and the Atlantic Ocean, the view is worth that alone! For a special splurge, check out the Bistro at the White Barn Inn.

And since restaurant week covers the entire state, there are more options to try than you could ever get to from March 1 to 12! So get your appetite ready, because these three-course prix fixe menus are offered at $25, $35, $45, or $55, and lunches starting at $15. That means indulgent meals at excellent restaurants that are easy on the wallet too!And with our Third Night Free Special in full swing, visiting during 2017 Maine Restaurant Week means that you can enjoy a relaxing getaway that is perfect for your budget, without sacrificing any of the luxury you expect from Kennebunkport and the Maine Stay Inn.
