Although chilly weather is in this week’s forecast, everyone at our Kennebunkport bed and breakfast knows that springtime is in the air, because Christian Giannelli, specialist in Inn Photography, arrived this evening. We always look forward to Christian’s visits, because over the past few years he has become a great friend. And, after months of hard work, his visits generally mean we’ve finished some
big projects. In fact, we’ve been so busy renovating across the property that we will have to have him back for a second visit this year!
For a while Christian brought his lovely wife Melissa along, because photography is definitely a job for two, but his father Andrew has returned to the team. And this father-son duo is so full of energy, enthusiasm, and our course, great design ideas! Before meeting the Giannellis, it never occurred to me that someone could be an Inn Photographer, but they truly are specialists! Somehow they manage to blend art and science with design and storytelling to capture Kennebunkport Maine and the Maine Stay Inn in their true light. Your iPhone camera and Instagram really are no match for the resolution of their equipment and the expertise behind their well trained eyes.
Anyone that follows us on Facebook knows that I certainly don’t have the knack for elegant photography, so we leave that up to Christian and Andrew. Because, after all, you want to really envision your getaway to a Kennebunkport bed and breakfast, right? During this visit, they will be checking out three rooms in the Main house, the Elmview Room #15, Abbie’s Retreat #17 and the Four Poster Room #18. Plus, Romantic Cottage Suite #1 got a whole new look that just has to be captured on film! It’s hard to believe that this will be the third time that Christian Giannelli has has to work in Suite 1, but we’ve got to keep you all up do date on the new looks. So stay tuned for new pictures of the just renovated rooms and suites in our Kennebunkport Bed and Breakfast!
