Welcome to Maine Stay Inn, a Kennebunkport Bed and Breakfast Inn and Cottages.

For the past two years, the Maine Stay Inn has been working diligently to become more environmentally friendly.  We use primarily natural “green” cleaning products and switch to compact fluorescent light bulbs wherever possible.  We instituted a recycling program and have a variety of exterior lights on photosensitive timers.  In the summer, we grow our own herbs to be used in breakfast preparation.  We even patronize local mattress makers and fine linen manufacturers.  But our latest step in becoming a green establishment is in the kitchen! The Maine Stay Inn is proud to announce it now purchases Maine raised eggs and dairy products!  So while we don’t keep chickens or let cattle graze in our ample backyard, we’re getting as close as we can! So during your next visit to the Maine Stay, keep an eye out for our egg and dairy creations and rest easy, knowing we’re supporting the local economy and reducing our carbon footprint!
