Luxurious King Size Bed
Romantic Cottage Suite #4 at the Maine Stay Inn got a major facelift in August, when it received a brand new king size bed. High enough to often require a step to get in, and made of dark wood, this four poster bed added major drama to an uninspired room (did I really just say that?!). Quickly this cottage suite in our Kennebunkport bed and breakfast inn became one of the most popular at the Maine Stay. But soon we all had a burning desire to make this suite a true romantic haven, meaning another redesign was in the works.
Although this latest renovation came down to the wire, the results are astounding. This romantic escape now shimmers in soft golds, accented with fresh white and ruby red tones. Once claustrophobic, this private bath with tub and shower, feels open and spa-like. Guests will even enjoy stained glass treated windows that let in colorful light.
