The last few days in Kennebunkport have been absolutely sizzling! Definitely a great time to hit the beach! Our guests have been eating early and settling on the sand for the day. The cool Atlantic water is quite refreshing these days – even for the most timid folks. It has, in fact, been so warm, that at the Maine Stay Inn, your Kennebunkport bed and breakfast inn, we closed up the windows and turned on the AC! Yep, that’s a first for the summer. After hitting the beach, guests have been holing up in the cool solace of their air conditioned rooms. Others take a break from the strong sun and choose to picnic in our great backyard, only to return to the beach after it cools a bit.
